We did the walk to Collado Viances on Monday. It took around 1.5hrs and was reasonably easy to reach Collado Granceno (grassy pasture), but the last 2km to the peak and back took 2hrs. It was pretty tough going and was very hot (as you can see from the photo of Frank below) but it was well worth it for the views.

Tuesday we had a rest day as it was another hot day 31C and the other 2 walks we wanted to do didn’t have very much shade. So we caught up with the washing (good drying day :-)) and did some blogging instead.
